I’ve always been fascinated by the ‘magic’ of Kinesiology – like Shiatsu it is a combination of Eastern and Western approaches to health and wellbeing – what do you think of it?
Energy in the balance?
Kinesiology is an established and growing complementary therapy that incorporates all levels of your being in its treatment. It combines aspects of Tradition Chinese Meridians and energy balancing with western muscle testing.
Both these aspects add great power to the therapy as muscle testing identifies which procedures are the highest priority for the client, and the energy balancing techniques utilize Ancient Chinese Wisdom and natural healing tools to bring about lasting results.
Energy balancing techniques can dissolve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual stresses, which may relate to almost any aspect of dis-ease. Many people consider Kinesiology to be the best methods to use to uncover and help underlying causes of health problems, enhancing the body’s natural healing ability.
What can Kinesiology treat?
Kinesiologists take a holistic health care approach and can treat a wide variety of physical and non-physical ailments. Just a few examples include insomnia, depression, digestive disorders, chronic fatigue, joint problems and low self-confidence.
What can a client expect at a session?
In the first session a full medical history is taken and present concerns and goals are discussed. Client’s are given an estimate of how many sessions will be required for a significant improvement in their health and wellbeing.
Clients remain fully clothed and lie on a therapy couch. Muscle testing is used to identify the most beneficial treatments to carry out in the session. These may involve releasing emotional stress, identifying and eliminating allergies, as well as addressing dietary needs, aspects of daily routine and much more.
Subsequent sessions involve a brief chat about progress, followed by further treatment.
